We've entered into Holy Week, and it's a great reminder of the upcoming holiday: Easter. In just 5 days, it'll be time to celebrate the resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ.
<iframe width="350" height="240" src="https://w2.countingdownto.com/680638" frameborder="0"></iframe>' Yesterday, everyone in my church participated in a parade in honor of the procession on the original Palm Sunday. We waved palms and sang "Hosanna, Hosanna." What does your church do for Palm Sunday? My family reads verses everyday during Holy Week, to follow Jesus' story during this time. Here's our verses we follow, if any body is interested: Palm Sunday: Luke 19:28-44 Monday (that's today!): Luke 19:45-48 Tuesday: Luke 20:1-21:4 Wednesday: Luke 21:5-38 Maundy Thursday: Luke 22:7-54 Good Friday: Luke 22:55-23:55 Holy Saturday: Luke 23:56 Easter Sunday: Luke 24:1-49 On Holy Saturday, my church is hosting an Easter egg hunt. It's a grand event, with hot dogs, egg hunting, face painting, and even a professional jump-rope team. Who knew there was such a thing? The Easter egg hunts are always fun - for both kids and grown-ups!
